Easy Peach Crisp

My mom makes the BEST fresh peach crisp. Sad to say, peaches are not in season, so if you have a hankerin' for some peach crisp, give this recipe a try. It couldn't be easier, and the crumble on top reminds me of my mom's Mmmm. Hits it spot!
 Easy Peach Crisp- 4-6 servings
2 cans (15-1/4 oz each) sliced peaches in heavy syrup, drained.
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. old fashioned oats
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter or marg, melted

Place fruit in a 1 qt. shallow baking dish. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix until crumbly; sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice cream, of course!

  1. Yes, mom does make the best fresh peach crisp. We had it last week for Sunday dessert using some of her frozen peaches. I'll give this one a try though - it looks really similar.
