Pancho's Place

While Bruce was in training, I roamed the San Diego countryside, entertaining myself. One morning I drove up to Carlsbad to shop at the outlet mall there. I was a bit early, so I followed the signs that lead to the Leo Carrillo Historic Park. Turns out that an actor, Leo Carrillo, had once owned over 2000 acres of land there. Leo was famous for his role as Pancho- the Cisco Kid's sidekick in the early television series.
Pancho's- I mean Leo's- family eventually sold off the land after his death until now there are about 10 acres that are maintained by the state. I was only there for about 20 minutes, and only saw an acre of the park at most, but it was a beautiful place.
I'll be coming back here when we go adventuring again!
