A Lonely Lighthouse

There's an old light house on the top of Point Loma where a light house keeper and his family lived. Back in the day it must have been a lonely place to live. They must have played a lot of cards.

An explorer named Cabrillo claimed this part of the world for Spain. Here's his monument:

It's not such a lonely place now that it has a visitors center.
