Yummy Chicken Casserole

Here's a Sister Recipe for today- Yummy Chicken Casserole. You can leave the almonds out if you want to- I think some of the folks (kids!) at my house wished I had!

Yummy Chicken Casserole- serves 6
4 cups cooked and diced chicken or turkey
1 c. chopped celery, if you like that kind of thing.
1 c. chopped onion
1 small pkg. slivered almonds
2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
1 soup can milk
1 Tbs. lemon juice
3/4 c. mayonnaise
2 c. cooked rice

Cook onions and celery until soft. Combine with all remaining ingredients:You can top this with cornflakes mixed with butter, or with bread crumbs, which is what I did. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour or till lightly browned and bubbly.
