I Can Do Hard Things.

For Christmas, Bruce gave me a new iMac computer.
AAAAAAHHHHGGGGHH!!
I didn't want to seem ungrateful, but there, in the middle of opening presents on Christmas morning,  I was screaming in my mind. I'm a Windows girl. Always have been. I don't have an iPhone and couldn't work Bruce's if you paid me. The scariest part- all of my photo editing? Yep, Windows based, using programs that Windows doesn't even support anymore.

That could only mean one thing. I would have to take my old, atrophied brain out of it's happy comfort zone and learn a whole new operating system.
(Side note: Bruce uses all Windows programs on his Mac.
Not right. Not fair.)

I would have to figure out a whole new way to edit, rename, resize and store my photos.
And I take a lot of photos.

There was weeping. Literally. There was frustration beyond what I thought I could endure.  It took time. It took new apps from the app store. It took some serious brain stretching.

But, I did it.

I can now take a photo, download it, edit it, enhance it, rename it, resize it, store it in a folder or post it on my website.
I love how my pictures look on my monitor. :)

I can do hard things.
