I Think Someone Stole Baby Jesus

On to Phoenix, or Mesa to be exact. This is the oldest temple that I visited on my trip, finished in 1927. There is a huge grapefruit grove on the grounds that is big enough to count as a farm.

There is also a spitting lion fountain:
The neatest pioneer carvings surround the upper molding of the temple:
They have Christus in their Visitor's Center
 And some very sparkly fountains.
The temple's Christmas decorations were still up and unfortunately, there's been an abduction. Baby Jesus is missing! I'm sure all of these figures are meant to be looking adoringly at the Baby Jesus, but right now they are mostly looking alarmed. I may never look at nativities in the same light again.
