Bushed Bishop Bruce

Here's Bruce's usual Sunday schedule:

7:00 am- Wake up. Shower, get dressed, pick a suitable tie, (maybe the U of U tie, which will cause many comments and controversy amongst the Bishopric), eat 2 pieces of toast and 2 eggs. And maybe a glass a chocolate milk.
8:30- 10:30- Meetings
11:00-1:00- Meadows Ward church block. Sit in on priest lesson, pass out cookies to Primary kids who have birthdays, talk to slackers hanging out in the hall, press the flesh before Sacrament Meeting starts, conduct if it's your turn, ignore the mistakes your wife is making on the organ, listen carefully to the sacrament prayer, carefully watch the Deacons pass the Sacrament, watch Ben count all the people, make eye contact with ward members from the stand, try not to fall asleep on the stand, listen carefully to what people say in their talks so that you can stand up and correct church doctrine, if needed.
1:00- 4:00 pm- More meetings. Meet/visit with ward members.
4:00- Come home and eat dinner. Discuss Sacrament Meeting in detail with whoever is there for dinner.

This is what happens at about 5:00:
Who says that Sunday is a Day of Rest?

  1. It's NEVER been a day of rest....but then again, there's that quote about resting when you're dead.

  2. I hear when we're dead we're busy too - guess there is no such thing as rest in the gospel.
