Yeller Stone Adventures

Bruce and I just got back from spending a few days up in Yellowstone, and while it felt odd to go camping without any of the kids, it was still lots of fun. We stayed in Grant Village by Yellowstone Lake and our campsite was right next to the check-in area. This made things interesting when those late-night arrivals rolled through at 3:00 am. Not having the kids with us gave us new camping opportunities such as using the coin-operated showers every morning and eating out one night at the lakeside restaurant! As usual, we did our best to fit in as much as possible in the time we were there! We saw just about everything there was to see, including 2 bear sightings- both outside of Yellowstone. In fact, we saw this fella in Grand Teton on our way in the first night:And we saw this guy between the 2 parks on our way out. Bruce thinks they might be the same bear, but I'm not so sure. The wildflowers were blooming everywhere, so prepare yourselves to see lots of Flora pictures over the next little while. Yellowstone must be one of the most beautiful places on earth!
