Caramel Crunch

When I was a kid, an ugly kid, which I blame on my sisters for not taking any notice of my ugliness, our Mom would make this crunch and we would sprinkle it over vanilla ice cream. And although it didn't take away my ugliness, it made my tummy happy.

Caramel Crunch
1 Tbs. soft butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
Spread butter on a 15x11 baking sheet, (one of those Silpat sheets would be ideal here), leaving a 1 1/2 inch border on all sides. Sprinkle sugar on buttered area, Broil for 1-2 minutes. Crunch will have a lacey appearance. Allow to cool. Remove with spatula. Break and serve over ice cream.

Guaranteed to not make you any uglier than you already are.
