Yeay For Jesus!

I know, maybe that title sounds a little sacrilegious, but Peter has a tendency to yell this at what he thinks are appropriate times. When he sent this picture from the MTC, I knew just what he was thinking (and probably yelling!) - "Yeay for Jesus!"

Ok, let me tell you how hard it is to be out of town when your son flies off to his mission! After several failed attempts, we were able to talk to Peter on the 15th when we were in Scottsdale. Turned out to be a good thing because Shannon got to talk to him too. As she said later, he was "full of love"- telling us he loved us and loved everyone in the family too. Love, love love! Here are some more pictures he sent from the MTC:

At the temple with his companion, Elder Rollins, from Boise and Elder Robins from Ridge Crest, CA. These 3 elders traveled together to New Zealand. This is classic Peter- posing in what he calls a "Missionary Model" pose. That's my boy!
Pres. Jollife sent this picture via email of all of the new missionaries that arrived on March 15th. You can see Peter and the 2 other MTC elders, and all of the others came from the smaller training center in New Zealand. He fits right in, don't you think?I'm happy he's there and doing good things!
