The Shirt Fairy

Every January I head up a shirt and jacket order at the barn. It all started back when I was on my original "let's get classy, Saltaire Farm" rampage. Our 2013 logo was designed by one of the riders at the barn who just graduated with a graphics design degree from SLCC.
There were over 40 items ordered and I was feeling really rich after I cashed those checks- it was over $1300.00!

People are funny. It took an extra week to get all of the late orders in. It took 3 days after that for people to start asking if the shirts were in yet. These things take time! 2 weeks to get the shirts in and the screen printing done. Another week and a half for the embroidery guy, who has little kids and does this after work in his basement to get his part done. That's 5 1/2 weeks folks, which is a long time to wait if you're excited. And 12 years old.

But the wait is over! I organized everyone's order on my newly cleaned sewing room floor. It's amazing how useful a room becomes if you can actually walk on the floor.
Tomorrow I get to play Shirt Fairy at the barn! I'll be the most popular person there!
