Lil Missionary's First Vacation, um, P-Day

Well, maybe we shouldn't call it a vacation, rather an extended P-Day. I told you yesterday about our plight of being snowed in at the Canyon Visitors Center in Yellowstone Park. As I was walking around the exhibits, which had a definite volcano theme, who should appear but: Lil Missionary!!

 I was shocked! I guess he caught a lift with Shannon, which was "sweet as"! Here he's showing us the volcanoes in his part of New Zealand. Since he's on the other side of the world, he's upside-down.

 Here he was basically the man as he tried to take a ride on one of those huge globes that rotate on a water fountain. Must have been "slippery as".

 He rode up front for the rest of the trip. It was heaps of fun having him along!

 Bruce had a good time at the Visitors Center as well.

 

In the lobby they had put up a big chart where you could write where you had spotted wildlife in the Park. 

  There were two entries that caught our eye. Look near the middle of the list: Odd man, poorly dressed.

 

Then there was the Scurrying Mole Shrewy Thing. We kept our eyes peeled for that one for the rest of the trip.

 

 It was a good place to be snowed in, especially with Lil Missionary!
