Hollywood, Baby!

We spent just a bit of time st Disney's Hollywood Studios- mostly because there's still not a whole lots to see there. Of course, we rode the Tower of Terror, and Areosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster. (I'm liking Steven Tyler a whole lot more now that he's an Idol judge, and who knew that his daughter would grow up to be a Elf-in princess?) There was a Little Mermaid stage show while was a bit underwhelming, But it was all very cool to see!
My favorite style of Retro Mickey:

Loved these topiaries!

From here you could ride a ferry past some of the cooler Disney Hotels:

I Won't Be Needing A Sherpa, Thank You

Now I can say that I've hiked the Himalayas with my friends at my side. Twice. Well, sort of. Actually, we all rode the Expedition Everest Ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Twice. It was that much fun. Bruce had to sit down for a while after that 2nd time. He was looking a bit like this:
The Animal Kingdom was an eclectic mix of wild animals, yetis (which may or may not exist), dinosaurs and a stage play of Finding Nemo.
We ate great Chinese food at the Yak and Yeti restaurant, and I knew I wasn't too far from home when I saw this sign:

Butterbeer Bellies

We got the chance to buzz over the Universal Studios Orlando to see the World of Harry Potter- very cool. They've built the village of Hogsmede and are making money hand over fist selling butterbeer (ie- cream soda with caramel foam on top.) the big ride was very cool, but Bruce had to sit dowm afterward. The attraction is so popular that by the time we got off the ride, there was no way to get into any of the Hogsmede stores.

After the chaos at HP, we made our way over to the shopping part of Universal. We had lunch at the Hard Rock where we had to explain to Bruce who The Who were.

Happy Anniversary to us! Yes, it's been 28 years since Bruce and I were sealed in the Jordan River Temple. I can tell you that at times it's been a pretty wild ride, but well worth every minute. We've been on many adventures together, but I'd never trade my good man. Love you, honey!
Look at this wedding line from 1983! Find yourself, or your Mom or your aunts or uncles! I still love that peach color!

Oozey Caramel

In Germany's World Showcase there is a wonderful caramel shop sponsored by Werthers. Everything there is dripping with caramel. Caramel apples, caramel coated fudge, chocolate and caramel covered strawberries, caramel popcorn, caramel cupcakes, it's just heaven! How do these tempt you?

Epic Epcot

If I had to pick a favorite park at Disney World, it would be Epcot, especially the World Showcase. The first day we went it was pouring rain, so no one else was there. Just the way I like it! We went again later in the week and the crowds were in full force. I guess I can't expect Disney to close down the Parks for me every day! The thing I love most about the World Showcase is the architecture of each country area:
I loved this picture, which honored my Viking ancestors:
And we had to take a few for our dentist friend, so that he would be grateful that we floss:

Loved it! Could go back today! I ate pork belly for lunch here! The only sad part- my camera started over-exposing all of my pictures and I just about had a fit right there in front of Japan. Turns out it's an internal issue- the camera man likened it to "a flat tire"- so now I'm taking super under-exposed images in S mode to make things work. AAgghh!!
