Every Bloomin' Thing

Arizona landscaping never ceases to amaze me. Something is blooming in the desert all year long, no matter if it's 105 degrees outside. Here's a sampling:

    Why would anything want to be blooming when it's 105 outside?? Why wouldn't they all just roll up and die???
