I'm Feeling A Bit Peckish

By far, the prettiest part of my drive was over the Sierras. Piles of granite and lots of pine trees. Donner Pass was the highest point of the whole trip, and I loved being up in the forest.  There wasn't much snow...
Thinking about the Donner Party was a little creepy, and sad. They would have been much better off with a Winter like this one.
Lichens are cool, don't you think?
