Here a Slab, There a Slab

I went to Salt Lake yesterday afternoon to "approve my slab" of granite for "The Great Makeover" (in future, known as TGM). I never knew there were so many large boulders of granite, cut into 1 inch thicknesses- they were like very large, very hard loaves of bread.

It took approximately 1 second to approve my piece. "Yep, that's the one. Do you mind if I take a picture?"

I had my Bell Photographers work shirt on and I whipped out my fairly impressive camera and took a few shots. "Are you a photographer?", the nice granite lady asked.

I said, "Why yes, I am."
