One of the coolest things about staying at the Inn was that we saw Old Faithful go off about 5 different times. Since I am a photo freak, taking pictures of white steam against a white cloudy sky wasn't cutting it, so we hiked up to the overlook above the geyser basin.
Here's one of my favorite sections of the Firehole River.
It was a wet and drippy sort of day.
From the overlook you can really see the Lay of the Land.

We found this mangy mass of old winter buffalo fur along the trail.
Yellowstone is an amazing place!
Wow!!! Very cool photos...and the view is much better from up high!
