Last weekend was the annual Stratford Family Campout. We reserved a site at the Heber Valley Girl's Camp that's owned by the church. I'd never been there and it was a beautiful camp. Our site had 3 cabins and a little pavilion with hot running water and a refrigerator. Bathrooms with showers were close by- my kind of camping. We couldn't stay the night, because Bruce had an early regional Bishop's meeting on Saturday morning, but we made it just in time for dinner and games on Friday night.
Nancy brought this game. Everyone got a plate with a piece of bubble gum, then the bubble gum was covered with a nice layer of canned whipping cream.
On the signal, everyone dove in to their plates to get through the cream and to the gum. The first one to blow a bubble with their gum would be the winner! As you can imagine, Bruce was an enthusiastic participant, with Brian not far behind.
Blowing the bubble was the hard part, and Daniel was the winner:
It was a fun game, with messy faces all around!
Definitely a Stratford-type of game.
Wow....that looks like something fun to do!
