Mammoth is always a must-do when we go to Yellowstone. On the drive up we enjoyed the amazing views and a petrified tree:
Even though Mammoth has obviously lost a lot of it's former excitement, it's still a neat place to visit. We were there in the evening, so the light cooperated for the most part:
While we were up at that end of the park, we took the opportunity to drive out to the big rock North Entrance. I'd never been there:
Bruce got all excited when we passed this sign because Peter is on the 45th parallel between the equator and the South Pole!
Never been there...it looks like a cool place!
